2026 Spring Tea Update

The early part of this year was quite dry, which slowed down the growth of our spring tea and put the quality to the test. Much like in 2023, the outcome this year largely depends on whether the tea gardens had enough irrigation. Fortunately, the situation isn’t as severe as the drought we faced back then.

The good news is that we finally saw some heavy rainfall over the past few days. This wasn’t just a “drink of water” for the thirsty tea trees, but also a boost of natural nitrogen. Tea farmers in Ren’ai Township and Lishan are all smiles right now, though for the lower-altitude gardens already entering harvest season, the rain did come a bit late.

Currently, low-altitude spring tea has already begun harvesting, but as of April 7th, we haven’t found any batches that quite meet our standards 😅. According to the forecast, the weather will clear up starting April 9th, with five consecutive sunny days expected—this is the perfect window for producing top-tier tea. We will continue scouting the plantations, so please keep a close eye on our Facebook and official website. As soon as we find the perfect batch, it will be available immediately!
