Heard that Cuifeng autumn tea harvesting has begun, so I rushed up the mountain early this morning, only to find the road blocked right at the intersection 😵💫😵💫😵💫. The blockage is located just above the tea plantation (Yongyu Tea Factory). Fellow tea buyers heading up should remember to take the Lixing Industrial Road instead.
Since the road was blocked, I only visited the 2,000-meter-high tea plantations at the very top of Cuifeng today. I spotted two picking crews at work. Most of the tea leaves are still very tender, and the peak harvest season is expected to start in about another week. Trip was a bust today, I’ll have to head back another day!😂😂😂
