The best value-for-money tea has arrived! After missing out last year, we managed to source some fantastic Lishan autumn tea this season. It’s currently being packaged and will be available in a couple of days!
2024 Lishan Autumn Tea
Some tea farmers in Lishan started harvesting around July 22nd, but with typhoons disrupting things, the quality from the July production was pretty disappointing, yielding a flavor as bland as plain water. Things changed starting in August. From the 1st to the 6th, we had clear skies with no overnight rain, resulting in an incredible autumn tea—the kind of super autumn tea that “outperforms 80% of winter teas!”
Rain started again after 2:00 PM on August 6th, followed by afternoon thunderstorms through the 11th. While the days were sunny during this period, the soil held too much moisture, making the tea quality somewhat inconsistent. For now, the tea harvested from days 1 to 6 remains the absolute best in quality.
Lishan Autumn Tea with Quality Surpassing Most Winter Teas
If you haven’t tried it yet, please don’t hold preconceived notions about autumn teas—a good autumn tea can easily rival winter tea! Just think about it: if high-mountain autumn tea were truly that bad, why would farmers put in the effort to tend to it, and why would tea merchants buy it bag after bag? And where do you think all that high-mountain autumn tea goes? A good autumn tea “not only holds its own against winter tea,” but “can even outperform most winter teas.”
Costing just a little over half the price, this is Lishan autumn tea that most merchants end up selling as winter tea. Currently being packaged, it’s expected to launch on the website this Friday!
