Lishan Autumn Tea Harvest Season

Customer Inquiry: I’ve heard that Lishan autumn tea is of great quality and priced quite a bit lower than spring tea, so I’d like to try some. Do you sell Lishan autumn tea? Which tea region is it from, and when is the harvest season?

Lishan Autumn Tea Harvest Season

Liao Chang Xing: Yes, we do sell Lishan autumn tea. The Lishan region mainly harvests during the spring and winter seasons, and while autumn tea is also produced, tea farmers don’t necessarily harvest it every year in order to protect the health of the tea trees and ensure the quality of the winter tea. Generally speaking, the harvest period for Lishan autumn tea is around August. Although this is technically summer, the high mountain region is cool with significant temperature differences between day and night, so the tea quality remains quite good.

Our Lishan autumn tea is mainly produced in the areas of Songmao, Xinjiayang, and Cuiluan, which are among the finest tea regions in Lishan. While Lishan autumn tea generally receives great reviews, we don’t purchase it every single year. It all depends on the weather and the quality of the tea—we only buy when the quality meets our standards. High-quality Lishan autumn tea certainly rivals the winter tea from other regions in flavor!
