Located in Menghai County, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Menghai Tea Factory is a renowned Pu-erh tea producer celebrated for its exceptional quality. The factory is famous for creating numerous classic teas, including the “Menghai Tea Factory Revolutionary Committee,” “Dayi Year of the Snake Commemorative Tea Cake,” “7542,” “60th Anniversary Commemorative Cake,” “7572,” “8592,” “7742,” and “7262,” which are widely recognized by collectors as prized Pu-erh masterpieces.
Construction of Menghai Tea Factory began in 1938 and was completed in 1940, when official production commenced. Today, its operations encompass raw material production, processing, and tea sales. Its brand, “Dayi,” enjoys a stellar reputation in the tea world, offering a diverse range of products including Pu-erh, black tea, and green tea. Menghai Tea Factory stands out as a premier name in the world of Pu-erh. Spanning a processing facility of over 380 acres alongside two tea gardens in Bada and Bulang Mountains, the factory ensures both the quality and quantity of its Pu-erh production, making it currently one of the most highly regarded Pu-erh tea producers.
