Lincang is one of the major production regions for Yunnan Pu-erh tea. Characterized by continuous mountain ranges, a subtropical climate, and abundant rainfall, it is exceptionally well-suited for tea tree growth. As a historically renowned tea region, ancient tea trees can be found everywhere from rural villages to deep mountain recesses. Alongside these ancient trees, many newer plantations also yield top-quality leaves, which are processed into famous Lincang Pu-erh tuo cha and tea bricks for the market. Lincang Pu-erh is highly sought after by tea enthusiasts, with quality and pricing that easily rival Mengku Pu-erh.
