It’s raining in Lishan, Cingjing, Zhushan, Qilai Mountain, Cuifeng, and DongYanShan. We’re pausing our trips to the tea mountains for the next few days and heading home to process the tea leaves instead!

May 19: Overcast in the morning, torrential rain at 11:30 AM.
May 20: Rainy in Lishan, Cingjing, Qilai Mountain, Cuifeng, and DongYanShan. Overcast in the morning in Zhushan, with rain starting at 1:00 PM.
The weather forecast shows unstable conditions over the next few days. Much of our high-mountain tea hasn’t been harvested yet, which puts us in a bit of a tricky spot—fingers crossed the leaves don’t grow too mature too quickly. It’s supposed to clear up by next Wednesday, and we’re planning to head back up the mountain to source tea on Thursday and Friday~
