Jin Jian Zang Cha (Golden Tip Tibetan Tea)

Jin Jian Zang Cha, also known as Jin Jian Tea, is produced in Ya’an, Sichuan, and belongs to the dark tea (heicha) category. Made from the finest raw materials, Jin Jian Zang Cha offers superior smoothness, lingering sweetness (hui gan), and aged aroma compared to standard Tibetan teas. Like Pu-erh, it falls under the dark tea family, characterized by its red infusion, rich body, mellow taste, and aged depth—improving continuously with age.

Tibetan tea was originally produced in the Yunnan and Sichuan regions and transported to Tibet for the Tibetan people to drink. The highest-grade tea leaves were selected to make Jin Jian Zang Cha. Because of its exceptional quality, Jin Jian achieves in just 2 years of aging what takes ordinary Tibetan tea 5 years to develop. It fills the mouth with sweetness, remains free of bitterness and astringency, and is rich, mellow, and smooth, making it deeply beloved by Tibetans. In recent years, with the growing popularity of Tibetan tea, Jin Jian Zang Cha has also been embraced by Han Chinese tea lovers. The finest Jin Jian Zang Cha can even rival top-tier Pu-erh in price.
