Hot Brewing Method for Ruby Black Tea

Prepare hot water at 90–95°C. Be sure to warm your teapot and cups beforehand. Use 2 grams of Ruby Black Tea for every 200 ml of water.

  1. Place 2 g of tea leaves into the teapot.
  2. Pour in 90–95°C hot water and steep for about 1 minute.
  3. Strain the tea leaves and serve.
  4. Can be steeped 2–4 times. Increase the steeping time slightly with each subsequent brew.
How to brew Ruby Black Tea

Cold Brewing Ruby Black Tea

Cold-brewed tea requires a longer steeping time, so use less tea leaves to prevent it from becoming too strong. Use 5 g of Ruby Black Tea for every 1000 ml of water.

  1. Put 5 g of tea leaves into a pitcher.
  2. Pour in cold or room-temperature water, steep for 4 hours, and then remove the tea leaves.
  3. Store the tea in the refrigerator to chill before serving.

Hot Brewing with Flash Chilling

Prepare 500 g of ice cubes and 500 ml of hot water at 90-95°C. Measure out 7.5 g of Ruby Black Tea. Warm your teapot before brewing.

  1. Put 7.5 g of tea into the teapot.
  2. Pour in 500 ml of hot water and steep for about 10 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea leaves.
  4. Add 500 g of ice cubes to the brewed tea to rapidly chill it, instantly locking in the tea’s aroma and flavor.

Large-Batch Pot Brewing

Prepare 7.5 g of Ruby Black Tea and 1000 ml of water. Bring the water to a boil, turn off the heat, and wait about 2 minutes for the water to cool down to 90-95°C.

  1. Add 7.5 g of Ruby Black Tea to the hot water.
  2. Wait 10-12 minutes, then remove the tea leaves.
  3. Strain out any remaining tea residue. Let the tea cool down to room temperature before placing it in the refrigerator.
  4. Feel free to add sugar, honey, or milk to taste when serving.
