Taiwanese Tea Shipping to Hong Kong / Macau Q&A

Can your Taiwanese tea be shipped directly to Hong Kong and Macau?

Yes! We fulfill over a hundred orders to Hong Kong and Macau every month. You don’t need to fly to Taiwan in person to get the highest quality Taiwanese tea, and our prices are more competitive than local tea shops in Hong Kong.

How long does delivery to Hong Kong or Macau take?

Excluding holidays, delivery usually takes 2-5 days. However, during major holidays or peak logistics seasons, slight delays may occur. Especially during the new tea release season, higher order volumes may cause shipping times to be pushed back slightly. Generally, orders are shipped out the second day after placement and arrive in your hands in about 2-3 days.

Which courier company do you use for delivery?

We partner with SF Express for deliveries to Hong Kong and Macau.

How much is the shipping fee? Is there free shipping?

Shipping to Hong Kong and Macau starts at NT$250. Enjoy free shipping on single orders of NT$2,500 or more.

Can I pick up my order at an SF Express service point?

Yes. When placing your order, please enter the address of an SF Express service point as your shipping address, and write “SF Express Self-Pickup” in the remarks field. You can check the location addresses on the SF Express official website: SF Express Hong Kong / SF Express Macau.

What currency are the prices on the store listed in?

All our prices are calculated in New Taiwan Dollars (TWD/NT$).

How do I make a payment?

We offer multiple payment methods, including credit cards, PayPal, bank transfers, and WeChat Pay. In addition to New Taiwan Dollars, we also accept payments in Hong Kong Dollars, Macau Patacas, US Dollars, and Chinese Yuan.

Do I have to pay customs duties when Taiwan tea is shipped to Hong Kong and Macau?

Declared values under NT$3,000 are generally duty-free. Unless you need an official receipt for accounting purposes or have other special requests, we typically declare the value as under NT$3,000 to facilitate smooth customs clearance.

What happens if the tea is damaged or lost during transit?

We take full responsibility for any damage or loss. You can choose to have your order re-sent or apply for a full refund.

Which teas do you recommend?

All our teas are delicious! Based on data from our Hong Kong and Macau customers, our highest repeat-purchase items are Dongding Oolong Tea and Taiwan High Mountain Tea. Dongding Oolong Tea: A roasted tea with a rich flavor and sweet aftertaste. Taiwan High Mountain Tea: A lightly fermented, unroasted tea with a delicate fragrance and a refreshing mouthfeel.

Can you help me buy or ship other Taiwanese products on the side?

We are sorry, but we cannot. We used to help tea lovers with proxy shipping for free, but issues such as lost packages and damaged proxy-purchased goods occurred. To avoid disputes and hassle, we are currently unable to assist with purchasing or shipping outside items. Thank you for your understanding!

Why is your Taiwan tea so much cheaper than buying it in Hong Kong? Is it fake tea?

Absolutely not! All the tea we sell is locally produced in Taiwan, and we guarantee we never use Vietnamese or Indonesian tea as substitutes. Our pricing is competitive because we ship directly from the tea origin in Taiwan, so you are paying the “origin price.” Hong Kong tea shops have to go through multiple middlemen like traders and wholesalers, and combined with extremely high Hong Kong rental and labor costs, retail prices naturally double. By cutting out the middleman’s profit and passing the savings directly to tea lovers, our prices are usually half or even two-thirds cheaper than Hong Kong tea shops!
