Songgang Tea Region: Cingjing Songgang Tea Grown at an Elevation of 2,030 Meters

Songgang is located above Cingjing Farm, home to Bowang New Village. This is the highest point of the Cingjing tea region, sitting at an altitude of 1,500 to 2,030 meters, producing exceptional Songgang tea.

There are only a few tea gardens here, with a seasonal yield of around 6,000 kg, making it a low-yield yet high-quality tea region. The highest tea garden sits at an altitude of 1,600 to 2,030 meters, facing directly east with an exceptional orientation.

Strictly speaking, the Songgang tea region is just a part of the Cingjing tea region. We feature it separately because it’s the highest point of Cingjing and yields outstanding tea quality—what the store manager often calls “a place with a very high probability of producing great tea.”

Store Manager’s Review: A tea region with an exceptionally high rate of good tea, and the highest quality Cingjing tea gardens. It comes at a higher price point, so the value for money is relatively low.
