LongFengXia faces southeast, while Budongyu faces west; otherwise, their elevation and temperatures are nearly identical. Because the tea regions are so close, the manager often compares them. Observations over recent years show very little difference, though LongFengXia tends to have a slightly higher rate of top-tier batches. Even so, the gap between them remains minimal.
Just like LongFengXia, exceptional altitude, meticulous tea garden management, and advanced factory equipment are key advantages for Budongyu tea. The downsides are also similar: there can be a significant difference in quality between high-elevation and lower-elevation plots within the region. Additionally, the price is quite high, resulting in a lower cost-performance ratio.
