The Meifeng Tea Area, situated right next to the NTU Experimental Forest, is the highest point of the Cingjing tea region. Tea from here is known for being limited in quantity yet exceptional in quality—what the store manager often calls a tea area with a “very high chance of producing great tea.” Elevation ranges from 1,800 to 2,100 meters.
Meifeng Tea Area reaches an elevation of up to 2,100 meters
Sitting at an altitude between 1,800 and 2,100 meters, this tea area boasts top-tier elevation. With an east-facing orientation ensuring ample sunlight, combined with the chilly breezes from the Hehuanshan range, the tea produced here is full of rich character.
If you are looking for high-quality high mountain tea, both Meifeng and Songgang are areas you simply cannot miss. The manager believes Meifeng holds its own against HuaGung, Dayuling, and Fushoushan Farm. The only downsides are that there are very few tea gardens here, keeping production quite low, and prices tend to be on the higher side, making the overall cost-performance ratio fairly average.

Manager’s Review: Just like Songgang, this is an undeniably outstanding tea area. The drawback, similarly, is its more average cost-performance ratio.
